The division of Infectious disease provides a wide range of out-patient and in-patient services, from diagnostic to comprehensive treatment options, given to a variety of patients. These services include management of infectious diseases ranging from simple flu to a complicated pneumonia or surgical wound infection resistant to antibiotics. Our treatment protocols are based on the most recent evidence-based practices to provide holistic treatment and prevention of different types of organisms.
The Infectious Diseases Division is in the process of creating a research center in collaboration with the Pulmonary Medicine Division to enhance research and consequently evidence-based practice.
The division also offers travel medicine and immunization services by highly experienced and qualified physicians.
